efficient

once again, i'm veyr happy with how i use my free time. on a related, but contradicting note, this is my 600th post to 'burn it off' apparently...heh.

some drinky, some poker, soem ultimate, some bbq, some party some surf, some steak and lobster. not bad, huh. against all attempted efforts i didn't get up into the mountains, though. i've been trying for two weeks to get up hikin'....but so far no luck. i do know one surefire to get a buddy would be to go with candace....but i don't think i can deal with her alone in the mountains for who knows how long.....meh. not ready for that yet.

had a bbq at my house last nigt (saturday). only 6 people came, but i know (and hoped) it would be kinda small 'cause all the real partiers were at this hawaiian concert that i ddin't (or the others) want to go to...so i threw a bbq. RIBS. mmm...never cooked 'em before but they came out pretty goddamn good. slow baked 'em for an entire hour than smoked the shit out of 'em. came out tender and tasty (marinated in tony roma's bbq sauce). also made bacon wrapped scallops, one'a my favorites. turned into a very chilly night of just chillin' and talkin' and catchin' up. always nice. good company, good food, good beer.

i think the only downside was that i was reminded once again about how i have to find new "lady friends" to be attracted to. these half-decade crushes are killin' me :) *sigh* i guess that's what i get for never doin' shit about it.....god knows i had my chance(s)....

i'm tired. i'm full. you're bored :)
