it's odd...now that i finally have internet again, i don't have much of a desire to spend the endless hours in this chair as i used to (although it was phsyically a different chair...). mostly just the creature comforts we're doomed to desire for the rest of our lives: email, online banking, blogs, and craigslist.

went through my gmail inbox one by one and replied to all the messages i got over the past few weeks...i always like getting emails :) trying to shift everyone over to gmail instaed of columbia. like i said before, i have something against 'forwarding services'. simply switching people over seems like a good way to filter out people i never want to talk to again :) hah.

i'm really kidding.

life in hawaii you might ask? for now, it's nice. i sleep more than 8 hours almost every day. found friends who are still around, a few who're comin' home. avenues to meet new people are opening up. i don't think i'll have to worry too much about havin' reasons to get outa' the house, so that's good. i have one more box floatin' around in USPS...it's the one with my amp (thanks liu) and my rollerblades....which would be nice to have.

just last night i made a deal ona car i was looking at. 1978 Z28 chevy camaro. good shape, a few minor dings and rust spots...engine runs, it's road ready. guy got a free company car (lincoln) so he didn't need the camaro anymore. i just gotta' go through a little paperwork and pay the guy (can't take that much money out of an atm ;) on monday. my first major purchase as a non-dependant...heh. now when i'm 40 years old i can tell my kids that my first car was a fuckin' '78 camaro. fuck yeah. it's possibly (probably, even) the start of a new hobby, actually. i think my job might be kind of easy...intern-ish...so this'll be my tech fix for a bit. we'll see how far i wanna get into it. the engine's mostly stock (350 cu. in. V8) so there's definitely room for more horsies under there :) i'll get pics up when i get the car and a digital camera (both soon, hopefully), but for now, here's a pic from the web. this one (try not to say 'mine' yet) is black with a sparkle overcoat, though. very hot ;)

i've been surfing some...but the waves haven't been cooperating the past couple days and i've been busy with other stuff. i'm sure i'll start surfing more and playin' pickup when i have my own car and down't need to plan my day around my mom's work day (so i can steal her car). things are comin' together. real world *rolls eyes*...too many decisions.
